Workshop Description
The workshop provides learners with the knowledge required to design an IoT system. Introduction to Software and Hardware tools for IoT design and development. How to efficiently collect, visualize and analyze sensor data from IoT Systems. Analysis of large and big data using Amazon Web Services (AWS) using Machine Learning techniques. Current applications and trends in IoT Systems for Connected Health, Autonomous Vehicles, Smart Cities, etc.
Workshop Projects.
Workshop Projects include Home Monitoring, Connected Healthcare, Environmental Monitoring and Control, Data Visualization and Analytics, Big Data and Machine Learning on AWS Cloud.
Topics.
The workshop will cover five concepts required for understanding IoT and its Applications.
Introduction and Basics.
What is IoT? Fundamentals of Cloud storage, computing and analytics
Hardware Programming.
Use of ESP32 Module for IoT, data collection, use of Arduino and Python IDE for programming.
Sensors.
Interfacing with sensor (temperature, humidity, etc), data collection, triggers and analysis of sensor data.
Working with the Cloud.
Collect and interpret data, visualize data on the cloud and mobile devices.
Big Data & Data Analytics.
Collect and interpret data using Amazon Web Services (AWS) IoT
